Chief Medical Director of the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH) Teaching Hospital, Okene, Dr Shaibu Stephen Babatunde has felicitated with the government and people of Kogi State on the celebration of Christmas.
The CMD, in a statement on Wednesday, noted that the yuletide season is a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and show love and care for the people especially the less privileged.
According to him, despite the challenges, the hospital has continued to deliver on its mandate with excellent services, expressing delight at the efforts put in by all the staff to achieve the successes recorded.
Dr Shaibu, while acknowledging the dedication, and teamwork spirit of the management and entire staff of the hospital in providing qualitative medical services to the people of the State, urged them not to relent but resolve to do more in the coming year.
‘As we embrace the spirit of Christmas, let us also renew our hope and determination to achieve even greater goals in the coming year.
‘I am truly grateful to you all to make this medical facility a world-class institution. Your dedication, expertise, and commitment to our patients is truly admirable. I am so proud to be part of this team, and look forward to us sustaining our work together as a team’, he remarked.
Dr. Shaibu also extended greetings and appreciation to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and his cabinet wishing them a splendid Christmas and wonderful New Year.
