The Vice-Chancellor of Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, Prof. Abdulrahman Asipita Salawu, has extended heartfelt condolences to Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, on the passing of his beloved father at the age of 83.
In a condolence message issued on behalf of the university’s governing council, management, staff, and students, Prof. Salawu described the late patriarch as a devoted community leader, a beacon of wisdom, and a man of integrity whose life left an indelible mark on his family and society.
“The loss of a parent is a profound and deeply personal sorrow, and we share in your grief during this difficult moment,” the Vice-Chancellor stated. “Your father was a pillar of strength and guidance, and his legacy of service and dedication will continue to inspire generations.”
Engr. Salawu prayed to Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant Governor Ododo and his family the strength to bear the irreplaceable loss and to bestow divine mercy upon the departed soul.
“May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and comfort the family he left behind,” he added.
