The Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency (KOCSDA) has handed over cheques to twenty two communities in the state for the completion of ongoing micro projects.

The General Manager of the agency, Mallam Momoh Dauda handed the cheques totalling N54 million to the communities in Lokoja on Friday.

Mallam Dauda stated that KOCSDA has so far disbursed the sum of N108million to twenty two communities, out of the thirty six communities the agency is expected to cover in 2018.

He explained that the benefiting communities were selected based on their performances, urging them to sustain the good works.

He appealed to other communities lagging behind to brace up to the challenges.

The General Manager called on the beneficiaries to reciprocate the gesture by completing their projects on schedule, disclosing that it would enable the communities to be further supported in the agency’s second phase of community development projects.

He commended the Kogi State government for its immense support for the agency.
