COVID-19: Rep Member Asuku Bello Distributes Food, Sanitary Materials

The lawmaker representing the people of Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Engr Joseph Asuku Bello has kick-started door to door and radio sensitization campaign in a bid to curb the spread of Coronavirus pandemic.

The lawmaker, known for his hard work and promptness towards the yearning and aspiration of his people, provided food items, sanitary materials and other relief items to the people of Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency.

The sensitization programme, which commenced on Tuesday, is aimed at enlightening and educating the people of Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency, cutting across 22 wards, about the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hon. Joseph also supported his constituents with relief materials; bags of rice, semovita, cartons of noodles and other palliative kits.

The Farm Centers within Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency witnessed the last phase of the distribution of the relief materials against the Covid-19 pandemic.

Reacting to the humanitarian gestures of the lawmaker, some district heads individually prayed for him and commended his giant strides to redefine representation which has long been abused by the past lawmakers.

The people paid encomium to the law maker and said “you are indeed a true son for coming to our aid at the appropriate point in time.”

The people further expressed their appreciation to the lawmaker who was ably represented by his team.

The lawmaker’s representatives, in their response, thanked the people for the love, support and optimism towards the representation of Hon. Joseph Asuku Bello, and solicited for their unalloyed support as the lawmaker in his wisdom promises more dividends of democracy to his Constituents.

“As we pray in earnest against the virus, it is imperative that we stay at home, to exhibit social distance and often wash our hands with soap and running water.

“We enjoin other well-to-do citizens to join efforts in the fight against this global virus. We also pray that humanity will overcome this threat to existence.”
