Those who uphold the truth don’t live forever, and those who do not believe in it die as well. But what lives on is legacy. And every now and then, ‘what would I be remembered for’ should I am confined to the earth beneath struck my mind.
At random, I wonder what is so special in this transient world that greed and self conceit had beclouded our sense of reasoning.
To those who care to know, President Muhammadu Buhari’s romance with nepotism in the conduct of national affair cannot be over emphasized. It had been like that from inception. Even his 95/5% body language where he affirmed that the North voted him and would as well get more impact of democratic dividends stated the obvious. Though, I envisaged it would either doused or get worst considering the fact that he was rigged back to office in 2019. Ultimately, the latter is endemically becoming a threat to our existence as a nation.
Buhari’s nepotistic and clannish appetite is tearing us apart. And I tell you, no Nation survives such fragile atmosphere with a lopsided accessibility of our common patrimony. Not in this high demanding dispensation.
Buhari’s lockdown orders which focused on two states in the South-West- Lagos and Ogun also had the Federal capital Territory (North-Central) inclusive. It was reinforced and extended for another two weeks less than 24 hours to the expiration of the first order.
Shockingly, the so called palliative measures which is meant to cushion the effect of the lockdown don’t seem to go handy with the said orders. To be candid, while Lagos and Ogun obeys the lockdown orders, North-west enjoys palliative. For instance, the so called conditional cash transfer has over 1.26 million households benefitting in states like Katsina (133,227), Zamfara (130,764), Jigawa (99,004), Kano (84,148) and and plateau (78,431). The report says Lagos got zero allocation. This came after Governor Babajide Sanwolu of Lagos announced the commencement of conditional cash transfer to the poorest household in the state.

Going by the event’s diary, who would ever thought Tribalism and the usual nepotism would surfaced yet in this trying period of our national history? Certainly not me, not my family members, friends and cronies. No one in his right senses would have perceived it because of the virality of the deadly covid-19 pandemic which the world currently combat via trial and error.
When the news broke that government had commenced the CCT in Kwali area of FCT, I was relieved. At least, Nigerian government is competing globally in the fight against Coronavirus. Little did I know it was just a paraphernaly of the usual deceit by the world’s laziest government. We were not even sure if it was true, yet, unprecedented lies had compounded the prevailing trauma.
Nigeria government had no genuine plan to salvage this country either now or from the impending disaster.
Whereas in America, citizens are paid to stay at home. Nigerian government after several lies from the ministry of information stipulated unscrupulous conditions for Accessing the CCT. That is the least of my worries.
Did anyone see that lumping of humans just to get the so called N20,000? Yet, government advocates social distancing as a measure for combating Coronavirus. Where are the data of payers of ever inflated tax in Nigeria? Where are the Bank Verification Numbers (BVN) which is mandatory for all account holders and currently has over 40 million subscribers. Better still, where are the data of each residents with which crazy and bogus electricity bills are sent to every month. Why can’t the government channel the stipends via these means if they really mean business? This is a heightened Hypocrisy if you ask me.
As I said earlier our government are the laziest in the world, Coronavirus virus is here but they are still sleeping. We were told that the money is for the poor, who is not poor in a country that is now the world poverty capital? Is it the over 100 million Nigerians directly exposed to a devastating effect of poverty with a feeding ratio of 0-0-1? Or more than 70% who survives on less than $1/day?
Fellow Nigerians, we are in trouble. Buhari is presiding a sinking Nation. And if due care is not adhered, we may cease to exist soon. The lies about the billion spent on palliative are obvious, and the hunger is obvious as well. Have you watch the video of that Ogun state woman who practically begged for sex just afford N500 for feeding? Take a walk down the street, study the countenance of everyone you meet, trust me, your findings would put you aback. Nigerians are hungry while Lai Mohammed displays his luciferous assignments. As we speak, the only people enjoying palliative are the Northerners. The south, East and West can wait let the princes eat first.
Thank-God for the path towed by the so called virus. They consistently transfers the wealth of one part to another. Invariably, those who labors gnash their teeth while princes enjoy. Mtcheeeew, God spare our lives, those who seek evil will see evil.
