The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the October Chairmanship election in Ajaokuta Local Government Area, Hon. Aliyu Ogido Haruna, has expressed confidence in his ability to emerge victorious in the forthcoming election.
Addressing party supporters at the APC secretariat in Badoko during the flag-off rally, Hon. Ogido stated that he is well-prepared to win the upcoming election.
He noted that his previous tenure as the Local Government Caretaker Chairman was marked by remarkable achievements, including improvements in the local government’s security architecture and the implementation of policies from the Kogi State Government under the leadership of Gov Ahmed Usman Ododo.
“I have a proven track record of service to the people of Ajaokuta LGA. Ogido asserted.
“During my time as Caretaker Chairman, I was able to amplify the policies of His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, through initiatives such as the distribution of palliatives and donations of cash to the less privileged.”
The APC Candidate also highlighted his involvement in fixing electrical poles, as well as his achievements in the areas of education, healthcare, and agriculture. He expressed confidence that the policies of the APC have favorably impacted the people of Ajaokuta LGA, and he said he has received assurances from constituents that they will vote him in as the Executive Chairman.
“I am well-prepared to win the October election,” Hon. Ogido declared. “The people of Ajaokuta LGA have seen what I can do, and they have assured me of their support. I am confident that I have the necessary ingredients to crush any opposition at the forthcoming poll.
