In continuation of his resolve to woo stakeholders in Ijumu to develop the Local Government Area, the Transition Caretaker Chairman, Alh. Haruna Ibrahim met with Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives.

The Caretaker Chairman, who was accompanied by the immediate past Kogi State Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Victor Adewale Omofaiye solicited the support of the seasoned lawmaker and astute politician in the development of the local government.

He also used the visit to solicit the support of Hon. Faleke for the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, who he noted is ready to consolidate on the achievements of former Governor Yahaya Bello and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Alh. Haruna commended Hon. Faleke for his numerous interventions to the Area, urging him to sustain the tempo especially now that he is in charge of the administration of the Local Government.

The Caretaker Chairman also visited the member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber, Arc. Salman Idris, where he also solicited his support towards making Ijumu Kingdom an enviable place for all.

In their respective remarks, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke and Arc. Salman Idris lauded the initiative of the Caretaker Chairman, describing it as a clear indication that he meant well for the people.

While congratulating him on his appointment, they promised their support to the local government and the state at large.

Hon. Faleke particularly used the opportunity to appreciate the Caretaker Chairman for using his new office to unite Ijumu people, describing the gesture as exemplary and worthy of emulation.
