Barr. Cosmas Ilemona Atabor, member representing Igalamela/Odolu State Constituency, has been commended for donating a hundred thousand naira in redemption of a pledge he made to Waters of Life Ministry, a Pentecostal Church in Akpanya, Igalamela/Odolu local government area.
Making the donation on behalf of the lawmaker, his Personal Assistant, Com. Alih Nasir stated that “Hon. Bar. Cosmas Atabor had earlier pledged to assist the church building project with fifty bags of cement.
“He made the pledge during a thanksgiving church service in honour of the Administrator of the local government, Hon. Patrick Onogu in the church.
“He holds the people of Akpanya in high esteem and will always continue to, not only bear in mind, but to always strive to redeem all his campaign promises to the people of the area”.
The sum was handed over to the Akpanya Ward Chairman of the APC and delivered to Prophet Francis Kume who received the donation on behalf of the church.
Reacting to the development, wife of the Agbaigbo Akpanya, Mrs. Patricia Onoja commended Bar Atabor for “redeeming a promise he made before God and man. I deeply appreciate his charitable donation”.
She also described Hon. Cosmas as “a politician with a difference. A promise keeper and a God fearing personality”.
