Constituency Projects: Kogi Speaker Lays Foundation of Two Cottage Hospitals in Kabba-Bunu

As part of his determination and commitment to improve the living standard of his constituents and reposition the health sector of the area, member representing Kabba/Bunu State Constituency and Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mathew Kolawole has laid foundation of two Cottage Hospitals, one in Ayede-Bunu and another in Gbeleko-Kabba to cater for the primary health need of the people in the area.
Speaking at the two sites of the projects during the foundation laying ceremony, Kolawole said in fulfilment of his electioneering campaigns and in line with the New Direction agenda of the current administration led by Gov. Yahaya Bello, he has decided to sponsor the construction of the Cottage Hospitals in the two locations in order to boost health delivery in the State.
He said since he grew up in Ayede community and the people voted for him massively during the election, he has decided to come and say thank you by putting up the project there for the benefit of the people.
According to him, the projects are expected to be completed in six months, urging the people to continue support the current administration in the State as that is the only way more dividends of democracy will get to them.
He commended Gov. Yahaya Bello for appointing credible sons and daughters of his constituency into key position in his cabinet.
Also speaking, Comdr Jerry Omodara, the State Security Adviser commended the Speaker for his magnanimity in siting such project in his ward, stressing that the people would have no other option than to continue to support him.
He said the current administration under the leadership of Alhaji Yahaya Bello has really tried for the people of the local government having two of their sons in the State Executive Council and the Speaker of the State Assembly which he noted is unprecedented.
He urged the people to continue to support the administration in its quest to move the state forward.
While the people of both communities were excited and filled with joy, they thanked and appreciated the Speaker for the kind gesture, promising to protect and safeguard the project.
