Your Excellency’s courage, resilience, and people-centered leadership have rekindled optimism in millions of Nigerians, particularly in the areas of economic reform, inclusive governance, and social welfare.
The recent vacancy in the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development has created the need for a leader of proven competence, compassion, and commitment to national service. In this regard, I most respectfully present His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, former Governor of Kogi State, as a fitting candidate for consideration.
Your Excellency, Governor Bello is not only a loyal member of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), but also a tested leader who demonstrated capacity in managing diversity, building unity, and implementing policies that directly impacted the lives of ordinary people. His administration in Kogi State was remarkable for its emphasis on youth and women inclusion, poverty alleviation programs, healthcare expansion, educational development, and security reforms.
Notably, Governor Bello’s empowerment initiatives and targeted social interventions uplifted thousands of widows, orphans, persons with disabilities, and disadvantaged groups across Kogi State. These practical experiences in grassroots humanitarian response resonate directly with the mandate of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs.
At this critical time in our nation’s history, when poverty alleviation, disaster response, and social protection are paramount, Nigeria requires a minister with the energy, innovative mindset, and empathy to drive meaningful change. Governor Yahaya Bello embodies these qualities. His proven loyalty to the APC, his youthful dynamism, and his broad political reach make him an asset not only to your administration but also to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Your Excellency, appointing Governor Bello to this sensitive role, will reaffirm your administration’s resolve to put capable and patriotic Nigerians in positions where their expertise can deliver maximum value. It will also strengthen national unity, reassure the vulnerable, and project Nigeria’s humanitarian governance positively on the global stage.
