The Confluence Queens FC. Lokoja, has been placed in Group B for the 2025/2026 NWFL Premiership.
Among other Clubs placed in Group B are Nasarawa Amazons, Delta Queens, Sunshine Queens, Ahudiyannem Queens, Dannaz Ladies, Remo Ladies, Osun Babes, Abia Angels, and FC Robo.
According to statement issued by the Media Officer, Emmanuel Abuh, the grouping of teams for the 2025/2026 NWFL Premiership was done at the 2025 Annual General Assembly (AGA) of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL), held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
According to the season calendar released during the meeting, the 2025/2026 NWFL Premiership will officially kick off on November 26, 2025 and conclude on April 22, 2026, while Teams will compete in four match weeks before proceeding on a Christmas break, after which competition will resume on January 7, 2026.
The Calendar noted that a total of 20 clubs will participate in the Premiership this season, with Confluence Queens placed in Group B.
During the assembly, the NWFL further announced the timeline for online registration ahead of the new season.
The registration portal will open on November 14, 2025 and close on November 22, 2025, with an automatic shutdown after the deadline. To ensure a smooth process, video tutorials will be circulated to clubs before November 14 detailing steps for successful registration.
