In a landmark move aimed at strengthening the future of education and institutional development, the Comprehensive Secondary School Okabo Old Students Association has officially inaugurated the Comprehensive Secondary School (CSS) Okabo Pioneer Group, a strategic body established to reposition the school and drive sustainable progress.

Speaking at the inauguration, the President of the CSS Pioneer Group, Comrade Muhammed Musa Adamu, issued a passionate call to action to all old students of Comprehensive Secondary School Okabo, urging them to unite under the Pioneer Group to collectively pilot the affairs, growth, and development of their alma mater.

He emphasized that the group is fully committed, prepared, and mobilized to provide moral, material, and strategic support to CSS Okabo, describing education as the backbone of community advancement and generational empowerment.

Also speaking at the event, Mr. Reuben Musa, the School Examination Officer of Comprehensive Secondary School Okabo and a member of the CSS Pioneer Group, expressed profound gratitude to old students for their unwavering love and support so far. He further challenged members to go beyond sentiments by remaining active, responsive, and committed whenever the needs of the school arise, stressing that the future of CSS Okabo depends on collective responsibility and sustained engagement.

In his remarks, the Principal of Comprehensive Secondary School Okabo, Mr. Atuluku Yakubu, commended the Pioneer Group for their vision, sacrifice, and loyalty to the institution. He described the inauguration as a timely intervention that reflects genuine concern for the academic growth, infrastructure, and welfare of both staff and students, assuring the group of the school’s readiness to collaborate for greater achievements.

Representing the host community, Mr. Momoh Nuhu applauded the initiative and openly thanked the CSS Pioneer Group, with special appreciation to Comrade Muhammed Musa Adamu, for demonstrating leadership rooted in service, unity, and development. He noted that the community stands firmly with the group in its mission to uplift the school.

In conclusion, the CSS Pioneer Group passionately appealed to the Kogi State Government and relevant education stakeholders to urgently come to the aid of Comprehensive Secondary School Okabo through increased support, improved infrastructure, and strengthened educational resources.

The group reaffirmed its commitment to partnering with government and community stakeholders to ensure that CSS Okabo attains its rightful status as a center of academic excellence.
