Coach Omada Ene-ojo Appointed as Technical Director, Kogi State Handball Association

In another bold move aimed at repositioning the game of handball and the Kogi state handball association, a retired handball player turned coach, Omada Ene-Ojo has been appointed as the technical director of the Kogi State Handball Association.

The announcement was made by the Chairman Kogi State Handball Association, Mr Jibril Ojih Saidu, after the association’s inauguration on Wednesday at the Confluence Stadium Complex.

Mr Jibril Ojih Saidu, who is also the North-central representative on the board of Handball Federation of Nigeria, said the appointment of Coach Omada Ene-Ojo is coming on the back of his hard work, dedication and commitment to the development of the game in Kogi state, especially his encouragement of young talents and contributions to the development of young aspiring handballers from the grassroot.

Mr Saidu urged the newly appointed technical director to see his appointment as an enormous responsibility to serve the state diligently and also bring his wealth of experience to bear on the development of the game in kogi state. He said there’s no room for complaints as the state boasts of abundance of talents waiting to be tapped and harnessed and a standard Handball court in Lokoja that is capable grooming talents and driving the speedy transformation of the game.

Coach Omada Ene-ojo thanked and appreciated the Chairman and his association members for finding him capable and worthy of the appointment and promised not to disappoint the confidence reposed in him.
