The Civil Service Reforms of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello is holistic as it is not just restricted to the State civil service alone. Political office holders are involved. In other words, government appointees are not left out of the electronic register regardless of the heavy-duty nature of their assignments.
In order to prevent absconding from duty, indolence and absenteeism, the clock in clock out register for political appointees is to run the morning routine of clocking in from 6 — 8 am.
The afternoon presence monitoring is also to run from 12 — 2 pm.
The closing hour clock out is to run between 4 — 6pm.
All government appointees are implored to comply with the directive which is also an appraisal monitoring system on their responsiveness to work and their various portfolios.
By and large, this is a lofty initiative and prudent decision taken by His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello.
