Clean Lokoja: UBA Donates 200 Waste Bins to Kogi State Govt

Kogi state government has concluded arrangements towards achieving its waste to wealth program a reality.

The program which is aimed at better management of waste,revenue generation and employment generation, the Kogi state Deputy Governor, Arc Yomi Awoniyi, explains, is geared towards making the capital city clean.

The Deputy Governor, stated this when he received 200 waste bins from the management of United Bank for Africa (UBA), in Lokoja.

Awoniyi, described the present administration of Capt Idris Wada as committed to given the capital city a facelift, commended the United Bank for Africa for its support to the state.

Earlier in his speech, the Executive Director, UBA said having watched closely the efforts of the state government at making the capital city clean the donation of the waste bins he noted will complement efforts of the state government.

The waste bins the Executive Director noted will assist in the post flood management cleaning process, commended government in the efforts put in place at managing the flood disaster that ravaged the state recently
