Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman, has called on Nigerians to use the moment of this year’s Christmas celebration to reflect on shared responsibilities in the overall interest of peace and advancement of humanity.
In a statement on Monday while felicitating with Christians, Dr. Salisu admonished Nigerians to reflect on the teachings of Jesus Christ.
“As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, it is my prayer that we take inspiration from his life and teachings and show unconditional love, empathy and compassion to all.
“May the eternal love and compassion espoused by Jesus Christ guide us now and always,” he said.
I prayed for God’s abundant blessings throughout the Yuletide and beyond.
