In the spirit of the yuletide, to mark the Christmas and New year, member, House of Representatives, Rt Honourable Hassan Abdullahi (APC/Bassa-Dekina) has embarked on mass distribution of customised rice to the constituents.
A statement made available by the lawmaker said the gesture is to assist constituents and supporters during the period of celebration.
The Rep member urged political office holders and well to do in the society, not to only provide for the people during occasions, but strive to sustain such gesture towards the downtrodden in the society.
He used the opportunity to plead with beneficiaries of his gesture to also extend to brothers and sisters in their neighbourhood, in the spirit of the celebration.
Honourable Abdullahi said there is much love in sharing, as it will also attract multiple reward both while alive and in the hereafter.
He promised to provide more outlets that will detach the people of his constituency from acute poverty, unemployment as well as ensure self sustenance of both their family and loved ones.
