On behalf of Team Akanle movement, the leaders forum and our other support groups, I wish all our supporters and well wishers merry Christmas and a happy new year n advance.
to our supporters we appreciate your faith, doggedness and patience through out the year even as you daily face humiliation, intimidation and oppression for your belief and faith in what you believe will serve the interest of our people best.
It is on record that in some local government some of our supporters have had their salaries stopped and many patronages withdrawn.
Our advice is for you to remain stead fast and loyal to the party as we still remain in APC. For our well wishers, we appreciate your faith in us even though we could not accede to all you wanted when it became glaring that the atmosphere was becoming hostile to the realization of our goal of having a good representation.
It is not that we took your advice for granted but we acted with the best of intention. It should be noted that for us on this side, venturing into Kogi west project was purely for service and not for any personal aggrandizement, The reason why we have decided to remain in the party in spite of all odds.
For our party and some government appointees, their approach towards reconciliation has been disappointing. It is either they don’t know what to do or that they think they can always have their ways. All they have been doing is to use divide and rule, picking pockets of our supporters and enticing or intimidating them. They have forgotten that the team is formidable focused and service oriented.
My final appeal is for us to remain focused, hopeful and expectant. Though the vision may tarry it shall surely come to pass.
