Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Iduh Integrated Services Nigeria Limited, Chief Peter Yakubu Iduh has urged Christians to use the celebration of the birth of Christ to seek spiritual and moral renewal.

The renowned pharmacist and philanthropist made the call in his Chrismtas message to Christians.

In a public statement, the popular Avrugo, Igalamela-Odolu born businesses mogul urged Nigerians to “draw strength and inspiration from the birth of Jesus Christ, while rededicating themselves to the values of selfless service and the pursuit of common good.

“We can use the spirit of Christmas to heal the wounds of financial disbalance in our society.

“I happily congratulate all Christians as we mark the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. I earnestly pray that God will answers all our prayer and give us all the strength to fulfil our dreams and aspirations,” he stated.

Similarly, a former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Ismail Inah Hussain called on Christians to be their brother’s keeper.

“I wish all Kogites and the good people of Kogi East a merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. I want to call on Christians to emulate the virtues of Christ, who through self-sacrifice brought salvation to humanity.

“This is a time for us to be our brother’s keeper, extend our generosity to one another and ensure that the less-privileged among us are not left out of the ensuing merriments,” he said.

While praying for journey mercies for as many Kogites that would have to travel during the period, he urged the police and other security agencies in the state to be alive to their responsibilities and ensure that the lives and properties of Kogites are fully secured at all times.

“The security agencies must of necessity redouble their efforts to ensure that the Christmas and New Year celebrations are observed peacefully across the state.”
