The former governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party in Kogi State, Natasha Hadiza Akpoti, Esq. has commemorated with Nigerians and Christians all over the world on the occasion of Christmas, the birth of Jesus Christ, which marks another festival of religious and cultural celebration around the world.

Akpoti, in her commemoration message, also sued for solidarity among religious bodies, regions, and tribes in Nigeria against the rising insecurity situation and poverty in the country.

She urged leaders across boards to shun differences and take responsibility to proffer solutions with every available or given opportunity.

In her words, Akpoti said, “I use this medium to commemorate with Nigerians and Christians all over the world on this special occasion of Christmas. I equally use this medium to call on leaders across boards to extol the virtues of Jesus Christ by their words and actions. Let us shun differences and take responsibility to proffer solutions to the rising insecurity situation and poverty in the country.

“While we continue to pray for God’s divine intervention, we must understand the importance of every little action towards addressing these two critical challenges. May God usher us safely into the new year with safety, great health and prosperity. Amen.”
