As Christians across world celebrate Christmas, Kogi-born real estate mogul and philanthropist Stephen Achema Akpa has called on people of the state, particularly youths in eastern senatorial district, to embrace unity, peace, and respect for elders as the bedrock for sustainable development and enduring social harmony.

In his Christmas goodwill message released on Wednesday, Engr. Akpa described the season as one of love, sacrifice, and reconciliation, urging young people to rise above divisions and recommit to values that promote collective progress across communities.

“Christmas reminds us that unity and peace are not mere slogans but daily responsibilities,” he said. “I urge our youths, especially in Kogi East, to respect elders, uphold discipline and work together for the common good of our communities.”

As part of his annual humanitarian outreach, the philanthropist distributed thousands of bags of rice to communities across Kogi East, ensuring families could celebrate the festive season with dignity. In addition, cash support was extended to vulnerable individuals and households to cushion the impact of prevailing economic pressures.

“No family should be left behind during this season of joy,” Akpa stated. “Sharing what we have whether food, support, or encouragement, is the true spirit of Christmas.”

Beyond seasonal interventions, Engr. Dr. Achema Akpa is widely known for sustained empowerment initiatives that include regular stipends and welfare support to many Kogites, support beneficiaries describe as a lifeline that promotes stability and self-reliance.

“My commitment has always been to people creating opportunities, supporting livelihoods and ensuring that hope remains alive in our land,” he added.

Engr. Dr. Achema Akpa is the driving force behind Zoe New Dawn Nigeria Limited, a leading real estate firm with its head office in Wuse 2, Abuja. Through strategic investments and community-focused philanthropy, he has continued to make measurable impacts across Kogi State and beyond.

He concluded by wishing Kogites a peaceful Christmas and a prosperous New Year, reaffirming his dedication to unity, compassion and development-driven service.
