The member representing Yagba East, Yagba West, Mopamuro Federal Constituency, Hon. Leke Abejide has heartily congratulated the people of Yagba Federal Constituency on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration, urging Christians to practise the core values of Christ.
In his statement, Abejide greets the people of Yagba Federal Constituency on the celebration of Christmas, reflecting that this time of the year marks the birth of Jesus Christ, the hope and redemption that are the hallmarks of Christ’s triumph.
“We must never lose sight of the symbolic importance of Christmas, the blessings it brings and reason for the joyous season of Christmas, it is not a mere celebration, but a time we must allow the core values of Christ guide our hearts.
Hon. Leke urged the people not to forget the reason for the season, use the peculiarity of the season to offer prayers and endeavour to extend the acts of kindness to those around.
“In this season of love, joy and peace, let us not fail to remember those who really wish to celebrate but are constrained in one way or the other by reaching out to them”.
“Together we can make this celebration a spectacular one by renewing our pledge and common resolve to work for the unity and prosperity of Yagba federal constituency and Nigeria at large”.
“Let us continue to walk on the path of justice, progress and prosperity of Kogi State and Nigeria, to support the administrations of Governor Usman Ododo and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu towards a developed state and a Renewed Nigeria.
“As the people’s representative, I will continue to work and represent wholeheartedly for the peace, unity, stability and progress of our constituency to represent the interest of Yagba and its development”.
