The Obasun Igbele of Aluland, Chief Aiyelabowo Adebanji Austin has expressed profound gratitude to Governor Yahaya Bello for upgrading the ancient Alalu of Alu traditional stool.
Describing the upgrade as a special gift from Governor Bello at the time he is preparing to handover the leadership of the state to his successor, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, Aiyelabowo recalled that the Governor is also a chief in Alu land.
In a statement issued in Lokoja on Wednesday, Aiyelabowo congratulated the newly upgraded Alalu of Alu, HRM Oba Oladele Togun, as well the entire people of Alu kingdom.
Aiyelabowo, the immediate past Senior Special Assistant to Governor Yahaya Bello, prayed that the Alalu of Alu’s elevation bring lots of developments, in both human and physical development, to Alu land and to the entire sons and daughter of Alu both home and in the Diaspora.
He also commended the Asiwaju of Aluland, Hon. Leke Abejide for his efforts in the upgrading and all his commitments to the growth of Alu, Yagba federal constituency and other places.
He wished Kabiyesi Togun long life on the throne and positive development in Kogi State.
