The Chief Medical Director/CEO of the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Teaching Hospital, Okene, Dr Shaibu Stephen Babatunde, has felicitated with the immediate past Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello as he attains the golden age of 50.
In a statement, Dr Shaibu described former Governor Bello as a pathfinder who impacted the lives of innumerable people, especially youths and led the State to a great height in the eight years of his administration.

The CMD commended him for his exemplary leadership style and extraordinary vision that led to the transformation of all sectors of the State economy on which the present administration is building with a view to continuing his good works and sustaining the worthy legacies.
While congratulating the former Governor on the occasion of his 50th birthday, Dr Shaibu noted with delight, the sacrifice, courage and strong will that led to the establishment of the former Reference Hospital now CUSTECH Teaching Hospital, Okene.
“Following your leadership style and the desire for improved well being of your people and Kogites in general, we have been able to ensure that the CUSTECH Teaching Hospital continues to offer qualitative healthcare services as envisioned when the project was initiated under your leadership.”
“Your Excellency, your exploits in the health sector cannot be easily forgotten as you gave the citizens, both young and old, the privilege to enjoy accessible and affordable healthcare leaving behind worthy footsteps in the sands of time.”
The CMD, on behalf of the management and entire staff of the CUSTECH Teaching Hospital Okene, wished Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello many more fulfilled years in good health, prosperity and success in future endeavors, praying for God’s protection over him and his family.
