The Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on Security for Yagba East local government, Hon. Sule Abdulwakil has commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his commitment to the welfare of poor and vulnerable citizens.
Sule gave the commendation while flagging off the disbursement of the Federal Government conditional cash transfer to beneficiaries in Yagba East on Wednesday.
The council chief security officer commended President Buhari and Governor Yahaya Bello for initiating programs that have direct bearing on the welfare of the masses.
He noted that the household upliftment program was designed and conceptualized by the Presidency to ease the burden of lack of most vulnerable Nigerians at the grassroots.
He thanked Governor Bello for providing an enabling security-friendly atmosphere and logistic support to guarantee hitch free disbursement.
He urged beneficiaries to continue to pray for Buhari and Bello so that they can do more for the people.
Hon Abdulwakil Sule personally supervised and joined the disbursement train and process across all wards in the local government.
An elated beneficiary, Mrs Funmilayo, said the scheme has reduced hunger and pains of the rural dwellers in such a way that their basic personal needs are being catered for from the cash disbursed from the scheme monthly.
