Nigerians have been urged to manage the image of the country with patriotism,act more and complain less.
Capt Idris Wada, the Kogi State Governor stated this when he received the National Orientation Agency Civic Responsibility Recognition Award, for opting to be treated in the Country rather than abroad after a ghastly motor accident last year.
Represented by his Deputy,Yomi Awoniyi, said the country’s negative traits are not worst off than those of other advanced countries, described the Nigerian factor as a good factor when it is positively used.
Wada said despite the negative comments made about Nigerians,the country still boost of the most transparent, hardworking and intelligent.
He called on Nigerians to join hands in the transformation agenda of the present administration noted that a journey of a thousand mile begins with a step.
The Governor solicited the agency’s support through advocacy to act in correct conduct as a stock in trade.

Earlier in his speech, Dr Mike Omeri, Director General, NOA said for opting to be treated in the country, a feat that is uncommon and rare, Capt Wada deserves to be celebrated, commended his sense of patriotism.
In another development,the State Governor has assured the National Orientation Agency of support as it build its Zonal office in the State.
The Governor gave the assurance when he performed the foundation laying of NOA Zonal Office Complex.
He described the role of the agency as pivotal to the sustenance of democracy urged them to take government programs and activities to the grass roots.
Dr Mike Omeri, in his speech said when completed, the project which is a one suspended floor 24 room office complex will ensure the function of the agency, solicited the state’s partnership.
