The irrational attitude of some aides to Hon Duro Meseko have come to the attention of Wemi Jones Campaign Organization on how these individuals went about defacing the billboards and posters of Wemi Jones, a frontline aspirant for the 2019 House of Representatives seat of Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal constituency with the posters of Hon. Duro Meseko.
It’s a known fact that all aspirants signed undertakings to conduct themselves in a peaceful manner before, during and after the primaries. It is puzzling to see some overzealous supporters of an aspirant deface another aspirant’s billboards and posters with that of their principal.
Politics is not war and every aspirant must apply decorum in their conduct as we approach the primaries. There are traits that normally should not be attributed to anyone aspiring to the Green chamber of the National Assembly, which makes the actions of the perpetrators of this miscreants deplorable.
We, therefore want to draw the attention of our party leaders to this condemnable act and urge that those involved are called to order.
Hon Wemi Jones is a committed party loyalist whose peaceful disposition is well known and will neither be distracted or provoked by the antics of opportunist whose desperation is rearing its ugly heads.
The supporters of Wemi Jones are implored to remain calm and focused in the quest to bring succor for the constituents of Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency.
