Campaign Flag Off: Cosmas Atabor Congratulates Bello, Onoja, APC

The flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the November 16 governorship election in Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and his running mate, Chief Edward David Onoja have been congratulated on their largely successful campaign flag off in the ancient city of Idah.

The member representing Igalamela-Odolu Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. (Barr.) Cosmas Ilemona Atabor made the statement at Idah after the APC campaign flag off. 

“The epic crowd and dignitaries at the event is a clear testament to the fact that the APC  flag bearer is the indisputable front runner in this election. 

“I wish to specially thank the Vice President, His Excellency, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, National Chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiohmole, Governors Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, Abdulrahman Abdulrazak of Kwara State, Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State and all the supporters of the party that came out in astronomical numbers to grace the occasion” said Hon. Atabor. 

He equally expressed his appreciation to the Attah Igala and Chairman, Kogi State Council of Chiefs, HRM, Idakwo Michael Ameh-Oboni II for the conferment of chieftaincy titles on Governor Yahaya Bello and the Deputy Governor, Chief Edward Onoja as the Oga-Onu-Ogu-Attah Igala Kingdom (OIK), and the Olimene-Attah Igala Kingdom (OIK) respectively.

He also called on the people of Igalamela-Odolu local government area and the entire people of Kogi State to come out massively and vote for the ruling All Progressives Congress on November 16, noting that “Kogi State, under the leadership of Alhaji Yahaya Bello has gone beyond age, ethnic and social differences and now focuses more on people’s capacity to contribute positively to the growth of the state”.
