After scaling all judicial hurdles faced so far, incumbent Governor Idris Wada will tomorrow face another judgement as his party member, Oyebode Makinde seeks to nullify his swearing-in as the governor of Kogi State.

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja will, tomorrow, deliver judgment in the suit filed by Makinde,

Oyebode had, through his counsel, Alex Izinyon, asked the judge, Justice Abdul Kafarati, to compel the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct a fresh gubernatorial election in the state based on the judgment of the Supreme Court which had, on January 27, held that the tenure of five governors, including that of Kogi, had lapsed.

Izinyon further argued that by virtue of the Supreme Court judgment, a fresh election ought to be held in the state. He said that any action taken before the judgment of the Supreme Court, with regard to the governorship election in Kogi State, was a nullity. He asked the court to grant the claims of his client
