One of the leading presidential aspirants of APC, General Muhammadu Buhari, has appointed Alhaji Usman Na’ibi Maiyanga as his 2015 campaign co-ordinator for Kogi State. This is sequel to his commitment and dedication to the course of General Buhari’s presidential aspiration over the years.
In a letter signed by Umaru Dembo, the director general of the Buhari 2015 Support Group and endorsed by General Buhari, Alhaji Maiyanga has been charged with the responsibility of supporting the campaign programmes of the General towards 2014 presidential primaries and God willing the 2015 presidential election. The letter further reveals that, as the co-ordinator, Maiyanga is expected to organize the state, local government and ward structures and set machinery in motion for General Muhammadu Buhari’s successful outing.
In a related development, Maiyanga’s special assistant, Musa Ibrahim, observed that his principal, who won primary election twice to become a governorship candidate in Kogi State, contributed in sustaining CPC in Kogi State from its formation stage. According to the special assistant, “Maiyanga put in a lot of human and material resources because of the conviction he has in General Buhari as a good material for president.
