Board Appointments: Voice of Mopamuro Youths Task New Appointees to Render Selfless Service

A non-governmental pressure group, Voice of Mopamuro Youths (VOMY) has tasked all new appointees of various boards, ministries and agencies in Kogi State to surrender themselves to selfless service which would engender the development of their respective local governments and the state at large.
The organization gave the charge in a press statement signed by the convener, Comrade Abel Olushola Julius, in Lokoja on Wednesday.
VOMY also thanked Governor Yahaya Bello for deeming it appropriate to appoint these able hands to join the New Direction team.
VOMY’s statement reads in part:
“On behalf of entire Kogi Youths, all progressive oriented Kogites and the new appointees of various boards, agencies, and ministries, we, the members of Voice Of Mopamuro Youths (VOMY), wish to thank His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, for appointing able Kogi youths as members and chairmen of various boards, agencies and ministries.
“And to all the new appointees, the Governor has achieved a great feat by appointing you all to handle these enviable positions. It is now left to you all to prove your capabilities by rendering selfless services to your local government areas and Kogi State at large via the implementation of the developmental initiatives already put forward by the New Direction Team.
“In the same vein, we also wish to thank the government more importantly for seeking the hands of nine amiable young Mopamuro indigents for Ssate building by a giving them various appointments.”
The new appointees from Mopamuro and their respective ministries and boards are: Mayowa Ajayi – member, Science Technology and Technical Education Board (STTEB); Olojo Joseph Femi – member, Kogi Properties and Investment Co. Ltd.;  Tope Matthew – member, Bureau for Local Government Pension;  Ayodele Ige Solomon – member, Kogi Agriculture Development Project (ADP); Hon. Sogo Williams – Chairman, Kogi State Environmental Protection Agency (KOSEPA); Mrs. Clara Ajala – member, State Scholarship Board; Sunday Isaiah – member, Primary Health Care Development Agency; Hon. Pariola Olugboye – member, Kogi State Sports Council; Hon. Samuel Adeoye – member, Kogi State Emergency Management Agency (KOSEMA).
