Kogi Central Media Crew received with joy and excitement the long awaited declaration the eloquent, sagacious, ethically endowed, politically cohesive, and security conscious Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello to seek re-election for another term of four (4) years to consolidate on his achievements in office.
The good news which spread like wild fire was broken like a bombshell amidst jubilations across the length and breadth of Kogi State and from various interest groups who cherished the unprecedented achievements of the digital Governor in the area of Security, Agriculture, Education, Health, Water, Civil Service reforms, Road Construction, Empowerment.
The Kogi Central Mouthpiece, which consists of intellects, noted that the New Direction Government of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello have in stock experienced technocrats, policy makers and principled politicians that were ready to move the Confluence State to an enviable height.
Engr. (Dr.) Abubakar Sadiq Ohere, Hon. Edward Onoja, Senator Yakubu Oseni, Senator Isah Jibrin Echocho, Senator Smart Adeyemi, Hon. Tijani Damisa and other House of Rep. Members, serving Commissioners, twenty one (21) Local Government Administrators, twenty five (25) House of Assembly Members, Chairmen of Boards and Parastatals, Support Groups and other dependable allies of Governor Yahaya Bello have expressed their readiness to bring good governance to the people.
In view of the above political machineries at the disposal of the New Direction Government, one wonders not how feasible is the continuity project of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello.
Consequent upon this and as contained in his declaration speech made after due consultation with Party stalwarts, Party decision think-tanks and considering INEC guidelines which he met in all ramifications, Governor Bello, therefore decided to yield the calls and pressure from the good people of Kogi State to re-contest the Kogi Gubernatorial election comes November, 2nd 2019.
Kogi Central Media Crew use this medium to urge all the critical stakeholders of the Progressive Party, the Civil Society, the various interest groups, the Media and as well the electorate to rally support for Governor Yahaya Bello for continuity in office.
At this juncture, we beseech the good people of Kogi State not to allow enemies of progress to divide us along ethnic or religious lines but be united for the betterment of our dear State.
