A stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibaji local government area of Kogi state, Engineer Ibrahim John Ocheje has described the victory of Governor Yahaya Bello and his Deputy, Chief Edward Onoja in the just concluded gubernatorial election as a welcome development for economic transformation of Kogi state.
Ibrahim made the assertion while congratulating Governor Bello and Onoja on the victory at the poll, particularly in Ibaji.
According to him, the victory did not come as a surprise in view of the positive leadership qualities of the governor in the last three years, saying the people of Kogi state have shown their unalloyed support for the present state government.
Speaking further, Engineer Ibrahim maintained that with this victory, Governor Bello will be able to consolidate on the achievements of his New Direction government across the state.
He thanked the people of Ibaji in particular and the good people of Kogi state in general for voting en mass for the victory of Bello and Onoja in the just concluded gubernatorial election.
The APC stalwart noted that the need to join hands with APC led government under the leadership of Bello remain paramount if meaningful development is to be achieved.
He appealed to Governor Bello to give maximum attention to Ibaji roads in his second term as it remains the only project that will transform Ibaji for both private and public investment.
He maintained that Ibaji people’s support for the Bello/Onoja led government remain unshakable, adding that more appointments for Ibaji youths and women will be considered in this second term administration of governor Yahaya Bello.
