That the social security of Kogites is in disarray isn’t understated, it has gone progressively worse. And that Kogites detects and detest a common enemy but the unity of purpose remains unachieved is emblematically a bedevilled fact.
They are moving in convoy and renting crowd but in essence, they are isolated- renowned devourers of public space. Their stock of tirade is anything anti democratic. They have negatively dealt with the people morally, socially and psychologically. The people in turn understood that their actions threaten existentiality perpetually, and would not want them the second time. But yet, they shamelessly and flamboyantly announces their existence with fallacious tails.
Fellow Kogites, Edward Onoja is now a primary school teacher. He now teach a self mocking topic on elementary science- EROSION. I don’t know if his teaching was cognitive of government’s policy to curb flooding but the last time I checked, Odidoko LG primary school in Ogugu (where he visited) is also in a rotten state. And just like the abandoned public institutions in the state, the school has no standard structures- teachers ran away in desperate surviving measure, there is no library let alone the free study materials such as, text books etc for pupils.
Many of us who watched the video as the enfant terrible teaches his erosion were taken in awe, and the burdening question has been, was the teaching base on references whereby the pupils could consult their text book for further study? If yes, what text book did he used? The ones in the school that has no library or the ones he came with?
Fellow Kogites, they have continued to take us for a ride. Election is near no doubt, and they are all over the place, pretending to be for the people whereas, they are in disguise the renowned anti people.
I was appalled even the more when the same Onoja told the world that they leverage the masses for reelection. You know what, for aspirant to bank on the electorates is well understood. At least that is the democratic ethics. But for a coronated governor whose slim chances if judiciously explored, would have reinvigorated our quests for paradigm shift to still induce the masses into voting him calls for questioning. And every sane mind would want to know what Bello and his second in command had been doing for over three years.
I was trying to reconcile with the whole shenanigans when APC national executives threw in another shocker while preaching Yahaya Bello’s message. Adams Oshiomole said and I quote, “Bello had learnt from his previous mistakes”. What mistakes? For abandoning projects because of critics or inadequate funds which he refused to borrow funds to accomplish? The idea that some people can fool others and get away with calls for war against Nigeria’s politicians.
In short, Adams Oshiomole and all those present in the flag off campaign has buried both democracy and integrity. Aren’t the executives ashamed that the man vying to represent a party of integrity has not commissioned a single project in Kogi state? How did they bury this fact in their conscience and still came to Idah to deceive the people even more?
Oshiomole bragged that those who could not pay salaries will not be reelected. Our governor is found wanting in this regard, we also saw some air of jittery within his camp and thought that APC will uphold its words for the first time. But how and when the same people made an overnight u-turn remains unimaginable trauma.
As things stood, the presidency fritters more money on Bello’s campaign while the likes of Adams Oshiomole and Nasiru El’Rufai of Kaduna state are luring Kogites on social media.
El’Rufai said he was coming to bury the opposition. Unfortunately, the politically instigating statement could not point out what Bello has done for the people of Kogi state that warrants burying opposition for. Therefore, I assumed El’Rufai is coming to bury the victims of Bello’s adverse policies. But if God is on the throne, they will fail.
Now the hypocrisy in the entire narrative are the hypnotized plots through which they are returning to power. They are so desperate about it. And obstacles are seemingly giving way. The former deputy governor, Elder Simon Achuba was one of the obstacles, and guess what, all protocols were broken to knock him out of government. Our royal fathers, including the occupant of the throne of Attah are now campaign tools for Bello/Onoja.
Fellow Kogites, the occupant of Attah of Igala’s throne, Mr. Micheal Ameh has just pocketed the salaries of 452 civil servants in Kogi state. Guess how? A Rolls Royce phantom 2019 worth $452,700 (USD) was presented to him by the governor of the state. And the said amount in Naira equivalent is 162. 972 million at the prevailing market price of #360/$. Now, going by the new minimum wage yet to be instituted, the said amount pays the salary of 452 civil servants at N30,000 for 12 months. Isn’t the spree of deceit obvious? Who said there is no money in government? Or government is unable to carry out projects due to inadequate fund?
I have maintained timelessly that the current Attah does not merit the throne anymore. He has devoured the throne and if due care is not taken, the worst sacrilege would be committed against his subjects soon.
Fellow Kogites, even the morally deformed could descern the high leveled deceit by our politicians. Imagine, Yahaya Bello and Onoja remembered a place called Odidoko Primary or the orphanage homes that needed visit because election is around the corner. And when they are elected, they recline in their shell leaving behind the vulnerable masses in an untold hardship. From religious houses to orphanage homes. They now apologize for their mistakes without a cogent reason to admonish such mistakes.
When do we learn to identify politicians’ trickish? And how long will this last? Well, I will conclude by saying if Kogites cannot discern who is for/against them, and they reelect Yahaya Bello, we will live to bear the brunt.
God Bless Kogi state.
