Bello/Onoja 2nd Term An Embodiment of Huge Blessings for Kogi State – Engr. Ibrahim

A political icon from Ibaji Local Government Area of Kogi state and chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kogi East, Engineer Ibrahim John Ocheje has described the inauguration of Governor Yahaya Bello and  his deputy, Chief Edward Onoja for a second term in office as a huge blessing for the people of Kogi state.

Engr. John Ibrahim made the remark as part of his congratulatory message to mark the swearing in ceremony of Governor Bello an Chief Onoja in Lokoja on Monday at the Government House.

He maintained that the second term in office of Governor Yahaya Bello will be eventful, saying the state government will consolidate on her achievements recorded in the first term in office.

According to Engr. John Ibrahim, the people of Kogi state should support the present state government in order to enable her deliver the gains of democracy to the ordinary people of the state, stressing that Governor Bello’s administration has created a new avenue for youths and women development at all levels.

“It is evident the commitments so far made by His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello and his deputy Chief Edward Onoja in the areas of youths development and women empowerment. This administration has determination to better the lives of the people of the state who have suffered neglects overtime,” he noted.

Speaking further, he appealed to state government to give priority attention to Ibaji roads in the second term, noting that the perennial problems of Ibaji people had been poor state of their roads.

“The Ibaji problems of poor roads and flood related environmental conditions are far beyond issues but a phenomenon, I urge the government to pledge attention.”

Engr. John Ibrahim who was optimistic of positive impact on the state by Governor Yahaya Bello led government, pointed out that the only way any democratic government can succeed is when the people give their unalloyed support to the government and stressed the need for maximum cooperation and support to the present government.

While urging support for the Governor Yahaya Bello led administration, Engr. John Ibrahim Ocheje appealed to Kogi state government under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello to consider more Ibaji sons and daughters in his new appointment and pledged the unflinching support of the people of Ibaji LGA to his government.
