The attention of Natasha Akpoti Campaign Organisation has been drawn to a purported story making the round by the media team of Okehi and Adavi Administrators where in their usual way of distorting reality alleged that Barr. Akpoti is under investigation for possession of ballot papers.
The allegations are childish, mischievous and attempt to shield the truth and prevent the law from taking its course on the undemocratic practises of Kogi APC and her footsoldiers who are bent on rigging the forth coming general election especially the Kogi Central senatorial election at all cost.
Our candidate, Barr. Natasha had earlier raised alarm that some ballot papers are in the possession of the Kogi State governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello’s residence in GRA, Okene and the refusal of police to search his house where the police said the governor’s immunity prevent them from doing such.
The statement issued by INEC that the stamp on the ballot paper in possession of Gov Bello is not original does not mean that there’s no ballot paper in the custody of the governor and didn’t invalidate the fact that Kogi APC is desperate and currently doing everything possible to rig the forthcoming senatorial election in Kogi Central.
To make the matter worst, Governor Bello’s aide, Abdulkareem Onyekehi went further to indict his boss by ignorantly displaying presidential ballot paper with ninety nine candidates as the ballot paper for Kogi Central senatorial district and shamelessly said the ballot paper in the custody of his boss is not for Kogi Central senatorial election.
We call on the public to disregard the concocted stories being circulated by the unprofessional media aides of the Okehi and Adavi Administrators who are hell bent on spreading falsehood to cover the evil tracks of their pay masters and Kogi APC. The truth will surely be prevailed in no distance time.
