The Executive Chairman of Idah Local Government, Hon. Alhaji Alfa Halilu, has commended Arch/Pastor Raymond Duke-Haruna, President of Revs Family Outreach Worldwide — the parent ministry of Latter Glory Kingdom Assembly (LGKA), and Kairos Harvest School of Mission, Inachalo-Idah — for his steadfast commitment to education and grassroots development in Igalaland. Halilu described Pastor Haruna as a visionary leader whose initiatives are not only raising a new generation of missionaries but also expanding opportunities in learning and job creation for the region’s youth.

Speaking through his Chief of Staff, Mr. Sylvester Ukwumonu Ojogbane, at the annual Back to Bethel Conference (2025) and Ordination Ceremony, Hon. Halilu described Arch/Pastor Haruna as an “apostle of development,” lauding his efforts not only in training missionaries but also in establishing schools and initiatives that are opening doors of opportunity for the ever-growing youth population.

The event, which drew prominent church leaders across denominations, was marked by the ordination of new ministers commissioned to spread the gospel “to the ends of the earth.” Among those in attendance were Bishop/Dr Joseph Opaluwa, Presiding Bishop of Jesus Army Mission; Rev. Daniel Ebune; Evangelist/Pastor Emma Ibrahim; Pastor John Ochimana; Pastor Ameh Amana, and Pastor Elijah etc. Their collective presence was seen as both a cross-denominational endorsement of the graduating class and a recognition of the institution’s contribution to Nigeria’s wider faith and educational landscape.

For the graduates, the ceremony was the culmination of years of rigorous spiritual and academic preparation. For the wider community, it stood as proof of how faith-based institutions are shaping not only spiritual life but also the future of education, youth empowerment, and nation-building. “What we are witnessing in Idah is not just the rise of pastors, but the rise of a new generation of leaders who can bridge faith and society,” one local observer noted.

Mr. Ojogbane, speaking on behalf of the Idah council boss, reassured the gathering that the administration of Hon. Halilu would continue to partner with credible faith-based organizations. He stressed that Idah Local Government is committed to supporting development-oriented religious groups that drive infrastructure growth, youth empowerment, and community upliftment.

“Our chairman has a heart for positive development, and we will continue to partner with the Church and its leaders,” Ojogbane said. “Pastor Raymond is not just a preacher; he is a builder whose presence in Igalaland is translating comparative advantage in education into wealth creation, in line with the state’s shared prosperity agenda.”

He further emphasized that the administration would sustain investment in education and human capital, noting that this informed ongoing support for facilities across primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions in Kogi State.

Describing Pastor Haruna’s impact, Ojogbane added: “This is not just politics; this is about transforming lives in Igalaland.” He maintained that individuals like Pastor Haruna, who blend vision with action, must continue to be recognized and supported for their role in repositioning Idah as both the headquarters of Igalaland and a beacon for Kogi State and Nigeria at large.

The 2025 Back to Bethel Crusade ended with prayers, worship, and renewed commitments to deepen faith and development in the region.
