The people of Ayetoro-Gbede community in Ijumu local government of Kogi state have eulogized Governor Usman Ododo for his concerted efforts towards improving the rural communities of the state.
This was made known by Mr. Samuel Olorunmaiye Olorunjuwon, the President of Ayetoro-Gbede Development Association on the flag-off ceremony of two micro projects – clinic and motorized borehole – that took place at Ayetoro-Gbede Town Hall on Wednesday.
Olorunjuwon commended the prudent nature of the General Manager of Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency, High Chief Dauda Momoh and his management team for being transparent, fair and equitable in handling the affairs of KGCSDA and the capacity shown thus far to uphold the renewed hope agenda of Governor Ododo by increasing the peoples’ access to basic needs and standard of living in Kogi State.
Also, High Chief Samson Bello, the Chairman, Ayetoro-Gbede Traditional Council who spoke on behalf of other royal fathers and the entire community, commended the State Government for using KGCSDA to extend its hands of fellowship to the people of Ayetoro-Gbede community.
He said, the importance of both the clinic and water to human existence cannot be over-emphasized,
stressing that the duo projects are human capital development and if maintained, can last the community a lifetime.
He prayed to God to uphold the Kogi Agenda of Governor Ododo that has shown inclusiveness and the political will to improve the status of our rural communities.
He concluded by saying that Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo will triumph over all the stumbling blocks in the course of his governance.
The General Manager, who was represented by his Project Officer-Education and Training, Engr. Yusuf Momohjimoh Ondeku and Mr. Agunbiade Idowu, the Acting Operation Officer, charged the CPMC members to deliver quality and sustainable projects for the community.
