Audu/Faleke Mandate: Olumoroti Convenes Meeting in Kabba

The supporters and believers of the Audu/Faleke mandate have convened at the Ajike hotel Kabba to hold an interactive session on the way forward towards reclaiming their mandate.

The convener, Engr George Olumoroti in his good will message to the people in Kabba on sunday said he was overwhelmed at the turnout of party supporters.

He noted that the meeting was an avenue to interact with the people at the grassroot who might not be too conversant with happenings at the tribunal.

Olumoroti, noted that the election of November 21st was concluded and won by Late Abubakar Audu and James Faleke”They both campaigned round the state and the people gave them their mandate,”

He noted that the late Audu fought endlessly at liberating the people of the state,while he assured members of victory at the end of the case.

Also in his speech, Mr Peter Olorunfemi, the chairman of the APC elders forum said he was very disappointed at INEC declaring the Nov 21st election in the state inconclusive.

He noted that the Audu/Faleke group was never in anyway fighting the Yahaya Bello camp,said there was no reason to fight when victory was theirs.

Olorunfemi, urged members to be law abiding and also maintain decorum throughout the case.

Barristers Obamero and Femi Mokikan in their separate speeches said there was no reason why the case will not be won at the court.

They said the case was a very clear victory and urged every members not to be intimidated by any group at all.

In their separate speeches,Chief Julius Arokoyo and Chief Samuel Meseko noted that the only beneficiary of the Kogi governorship election was  Hon James Faleke.

They dissociated themselves from the Jan 27th inauguration in the state,said they would stand by Faleke till his case was determined at the competent court.

They said that the attention of the elders forum of the party has been drawn to some publications where members supporting Faleke are said to be involved in anti party activities.

They urged members not to be deter by their utterances but to continue to support the Audu/Faleke mandate.
