A chieftain of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in Kogi State, Hamza Sherrif Aliu, said the ACN in Kogi States appreciates the entrance of the former governor, Prince Abubakar Audu, into the party, stressing that as it stands today, Audu has no equal among the other governorship aspirants.
Hamza, however, called on ACN supporters in the state to harmonize their structures across the state and go ahead to endorse the candidature of Prince Abubakar Audu as the governorship candidate of the party for the December election.
The ACN chieftain also urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct free and fair governorship election in the state.
According to him, ACN conducted the least controversial primary elections in the last general elections across the country, saying that the party needs to put its new house in order for improved internal democracy.
