ATTENTION OF HIS EXCELLENCY SENATOR ENGR.NWEZE DAVID UMAHI: THE DEPLORABLE STATE OF KABBA-ILORIN-ISANLU- EGBE TO ILORIN IN KWARA ROAD AND THE KABBA- IYARA- EKINRIN ADDE TO OMUO IN EKITI ROAD UNDER YOUR STEWARDSHIP

The deplorable state of the Kabba-Isanlu-Egbe to Ilorin the Kwara State capital road and the Kabba-Iyara-Ekinrin Adde to Omuo in Ekiti State road in Kogi State under the stewardship of Engr. Nweze David Umahi is a matter of great concern for the residents and businesses in the three states.
Despite the promise of rehabilitation during the Minister’s official visit to Kogi State at the dawn of his assumption of office, no progress has been seen by the people in improving the condition of these crucial roads, leading to increased travel times, vehicle breakdowns, and accidents.
The integrity, character and the talk and do capacity posture of the Honourable Minister and our leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is never in doubt and can never wane in the minds of the people of Kogi State
However, the continued deplorable state of these roads in Kogi State in particular under the stewardship of Senator (Engr.) Umahi is a matter of great concern for the residents and businesses in the state.
The roads in reference are a vital transportation arteries that link Kogi State to Lagos State, Kwara State and the Federal capital territory of Abuja that facilitates economic activities in the area. However, the severe neglect of these roads has led to significant challenges for the residents and businesses in these parts of Nigeria.
The neglect of these roads has not only impeded the movement of people and goods but also hindered economic growth and development in the states of Kogi, Kwara, and Ekiti. The frustration and dissatisfaction among the people of the West Senatorial District of Kogi State are growing, as they rely on these roads for their daily commutes and livelihoods.
It is crucial that His Excellency Engr. Umahi takes urgent action to prioritize the rehabilitation and maintenance of these critical roads to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents and promote socio-economic development in the area. Failure to address the deteriorating condition of these roads will continue to impede progress and prosperity in the states.
The current state of these roads in Kogi State highlights the urgent need for infrastructure development and maintenance. Sen. Engr. David Umahi must allocate resources and prioritize these roads for the benefit of the residents and the overall development of the region.
