Retired Area Court Judge, Hon. Sunday Arogundade, has been named as one of the recipients of Ekinrin-Adde Community Service Award.
This was made known in a statement released by the Publicity Secretary of the Ekinrin-Adde Community Development Association, Mr Victor Adekanye.
The statement described Arogundade as a community man, who has demonstrated great commitment to the service of Ekinrin-Adde community.
Arogundade was born in Ekinrin-Adde in 1961 and he had his early education at KDJEC in the community of his birth, before proceeding to Government Secondary School, Omu-Aran for his secondary education which he completed in 1982.
After his secondary education, he joined the then, Kwara State judiciary (now Kogi State Judiciary) as a Court Clerk. He rose through the rank to becoming an Area Court Judge before his retirement in 2018
Along the line, as a judicial worker, Arogundade, acquired a Diploma in Law from Kogi State Polytechnic.
He attend other basic judicial courses including one in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
The honour will be conferred on Mr Arogundade, on June 23rd at the Ekinrin-Adde Event Centre.
