The member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Arc. Salman Idris has expressed his deep sympathy to the Muslim ummah in Aiyegunle Gbedde and the entire JNI Kogi State over the demise of the Chief Imam of the community, Sheikh Musa Olorunkemi who died this morning 8th October, 2023 after a brief illness.
Hon. Salman described the late Chief Imam as a patriotic and detribilised Nigerian who contributed in no small measures to the propagation of Islam through his preaching and exemplary lifestyle.
In a statement, signed by his Senior Legislative Aide, Mubeen Musa, the federal lawmaker urged his immediate family and entire Muslim Ummah to be consoled with his good deeds while he was alive and continue to propagate the legacies he left behind as a way of immortalising him.
He prayed that Almighty Allah accepts his return, rewards his good works and grant him Aljanat fridous.
He urged the Muslim community to attend his Janaza as he will be buried tomorrow 9th October, 2023 at 10.00am in Aiyegunle Gbedde, Ijumu LGA. Kogi State.
