It was a long but very interesting and exciting period of immense politicking, campaigns and showcase of government achievements to the people of Kogi Central, and appeal that they queue behind the choice of President Muhammad Buhari, Alh. Yakubu Oseni and other candidates of All Progressive Congress (APC) as they remain a credible option that will help consolidate government’s achievements.
Today, we are glad the people came out in large numbers to appreciate the good work of their son, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello, they believe in our party, the APC and kept fate with the manifesto of our candidates. We can’t thank you enough, but surely, your loyalty and commitments will never go vain.
Kogi Central Media Crew did her best to change the negative perceptions planted in the media to discredit the governor, seek cheap publicity and attract sympathy of unsuspecting members of the public. Today, we hold our head high that the people actually knew the truth and stood by it and send away lies from our land through the instrumentality of their PVCs.
While we join the rest of Kogites to congratulate President Muhammad Buhari, Alh. Yakubu Oseni, Hon. Tijani Damisa, Joseph Asuku Bello and Idris Lawal on their election victories, we wish to salute the political sagacity of Kogi Central leader, Engr. (Dr) Abubakar Sadiq Ohere, you are indeed a dependable ally of Gov. Yahaya Bello and a pillar to the success story.
Finally, we appreciate the efforts and commitment of Kogi State Accountant-General, Alh. Jibril Momoh, the Administrators of Okene, Okehi, Adavi, Ajaokuta and Ogori/Magongo Local Governments. History will be kind to you all.
