A former minority leader of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon Yori Afolabi has been suspended by the All progressive Congress (APC).
According to the notice of suspension signed by Hon. Komolafe Kayode Idowu, the suspension was on alleged anti-party activities.
The letter was addressed to Honourable Afolabi Paul, the Chairman of All Progressive Congress, Ijumu Local Government.
The letter of suspension reads: “Kindly be notified of the decision of All Progressive Congress, Iyah-Ayeh ward to expel honorable Yori Afolabi from our great party.
“Over the years, the above-named individual has been consistently working against the interest of the party in our ward.
“He openly worked against her party during the presidential and national assembly elections. This has caused serious setback and embarrassment to our members.
“Sir, while we continue to be loyal to the party, we hope you will rectify this decision in the best interest of our party.”
