In the last one week, we have published several reports on the APC primaries in Kogi State that have come to pass.
Credible intel at our disposal has revealed that one of the aspirants on the platform of APC has been marked for elimination because he is seen as an obstacle to the actualization of the despotic quest to foist a purportedly anointed aspirant on the people.
The desperation on the part of those involved in the attempt to impose has reached a frenzy.
We therefore call on security agencies to take note and act appropriate. This political contest is a clash of aspirations and not war. In fact, it is not a do-or-die affair.
Several primaries have been held in Kogi West since the inauguration of the Fourth Republic in 1999 without the unnecessary heating up of the polity we now witness.
Those with this evil machinations should restrain themselves and their hit squad as dire consequences await them if they don’t.
We shall keep the general public informed as events unfold while hoping reason will prevail for a peaceful primaries.
