Chairman, Kogi state chapter of Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Alhaji Taufiq Isa has Governor Yahaya Bello’s victory at the APC primary election as a true reflection of the wishes of Kogi electorate.
In a press statement issued on Saturday, Isa hailed members and leaders of All Progressives Congress (APC) for the orderly manner the primary election was conducted.
The council boss stated that the people of Kogi state have spoken through their representatives who were delegates at the primary.
“On behalf the Administrators in the twenty-one local government areas, I heartily wish to congratulate His Excellency Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello on his overwhelmed victory at APC governorship primaries.
“We rejoice with His Excellency on this well deserved victory. We thank the leadership, delegates and all members of our great party for the confidence they reposed on him.
“Governor Bello is known as a leader of honour who takes the welfare of his people as his utmost priority. No doubt, our party and members made a right choice by giving him overwhelming votes and another chance to fly the ticket of our great party,” he said.
