The All Progressives Congress (APC) Deputy National Spokesman, Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, has extended his condolences to the Kogi State Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, on the death of his father, the late Alhaji Asiru Ijagbemi.
In a statement released to the press, Meseko described the passing of Alhaji Ijagbemi at the ripe age of 95 as a significant loss to the immediate family and the broader community.
He praised the late Alhaji as a man of great wisdom and integrity who dedicated his life to serving his family and contributing positively to society.
“The news of Alhaji Ijagbemi’s death came as a shock,” Meseko stated. “He was a patriarch whose values and teachings are clearly reflected in the life and service of his son, Commissioner Asiru Idris. His legacy of honesty, hard work, and community service will forever be remembered.”
Meseko encouraged the Commissioner to take solace in the fact that his father lived a long and fulfilling life marked by positive impact.
He prayed that Allah accepts his return, eases his accounts, admits him to al-Jannah Firdaus, and upholds his family upon goodness.
