He also reiterated the importance of collaboration between schools, parents, and communities in tackling the issue of bullying, stating that such efforts must be a collective responsibility. He encouraged students to embrace the values of empathy, understanding, and respect, adding that the government’s commitment to supporting educational institutions in the state aligns with the broader goal of fostering a healthy and conducive learning environment.

The initiative by Julitola International School brought together students of all ages, teachers, parents, and community leaders, all walking hand-in-hand to raise awareness of the harmful effects of bullying and to promote a culture of kindness and respect. With placards, banners, and chants, the procession made its way through the heart of Lokoja, capturing the attention of passersby and igniting conversations about the need to stop bullying.

In the spirit of Anti-Bullying Week, the school also organized interactive workshops, peer support groups, and open discussions, where students had the opportunity to share their experiences, learn conflict resolution strategies, and understand the importance of standing up against bullying in their own schools and communities.

The success of this campaign highlights the dedication of Julitola International School to not only provide quality education but also to ensure that the values of empathy, kindness, and mutual respect are ingrained in the next generation.

As Anti-Bullying Week 2024 draws to a close, the message is clear: bullying has no place in our schools, and together, we can build a future where every child feels valued, supported, and safe.
