Chairman, Ankpa vigilante group in Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State, Joseph Isa Iyoma, has appealed to the state government to provide an operational vehicle and other logistics to enable them carry out their job effectively.
Iyoma, who spoke at the weekend in Ankpa, said the appeal was necessary in order to effectively cover the area.
He noted that Ankpa community is very large and to effectively cover it, certain things must be on ground. He said the group had been able to reduce criminal activities in the area.
He commended the state government for its support.
